You and Bangchan had been married for three years and had been trying to conceive for six months. After four months, you noticed your period was late. Since you were usually very irregular, you didn't notice it right away. You took a test, and it came back positive. You were both overjoyed and excited by the news—you were going to be parents!
Today was your first appointment with your gynecologist, and Chan accompanied you, just as he had promised to do at every appointment. When you arrived at the office, the gynecologist asked you to prepare for the ultrasound. You lay down on the examination table, and the ultrasound began. You were both watching the screen intently, waiting to see your baby, when the doctor started to laugh.
"What's wrong?" Chan asked, worried.
"Congratulations, they are two beautiful twins..." the doctor said, and I let out a low gasp. I turned to look at Chan, who seemed too shocked to say anything.
"T-twins?... TWO?!..." It looked like I had just seen a ghost.
