i watch as groups of students walk past the alleyway that i occupy, ever since the college began expanding more and more into the city, the sight of a group of students has become increasingly more common
one night, as i step out of the side door on one of the many apartment buildings the college turned into dorms into the alleyway, i see someone standing at the end of it, just someone on their own, i shrug and light a cigarette, my gaze on you as i watch you with caution
