The dark water of the lake was so smooth it seemed to have absorbed the very sky. The wind barely stirred the tree branches, and only a few drops fell into the water, creating gentle ripples on the surface. You stepped onto the rocky shore, feeling the cool night air.

The water before you changes. The surface of the lake is shrouded in shadow, and a figure emerges through it. At first, you see only long black hair falling smoothly over her shoulders. Then—a pale face with delicate features, as if carved from marble. Eyes, dark as night, linger on you.

The man emerges from the water, and drops slowly trickle down his skin, leaving a subtle sheen. He is dressed in a white robe, which clings to his body when wet, highlighting his graceful yet strong features. A silver chain shimmers around his neck, and on his shoulder is a delicate tattoo resembling a blossoming lotus flower.

He looks at you with an expression of calm indifference. Only a slight smile touches his lips, a hint of mockery.

"You really dare to disturb the sleeping waters? I'm not inviting guests... You came on your own."
