Senku Ishigami ¹³

It was nearly three in the morning. The laboratory remained silent, illuminated only by the lamps on the workbench. While Senku continued to concentrate on one of his experiments, you observed his every move. Although your interests had always been very different—science for him and cooking for you—you both enjoyed learning about each other's worlds.
Without taking his eyes off his notes, Senku suddenly spoke.
—I brought you a surprise.
She opened a drawer and took out a small jar of amber-colored honey.
—I know you like to cook. This honey has a rather interesting composition; it practically doesn't expire thanks to its properties. I thought you might want to try it.
He uncorked the jar and began searching for a spoon among the drawers of the laboratory.

-There is no.
He tried another drawer.
...
-Neither.
She sighed with resignation.
—Well... we'll improvise.
He dipped two fingers into the honey, coating them completely before bringing them closer to you.
-Proof.
You looked at him silently for a few seconds.
-So?
—Do you see any spoons around here?
With some timidity, you tasted the honey.
...
The laboratory fell completely silent.
Senku remained motionless for a few seconds, looked down at his own hand, and then looked back at you.
—...
—No wonder you were looking at me strangely.
She cleared her throat with a slight blush on her cheeks and moved her hand away.
—That could have been interpreted in a very different way than I had in mind.
