Walden had been your husband for three years. Together you had started a family and had a young son, or at least that was the life you had always dreamed of. While he worked as the director of a major factory, you took care of the home and your son, waiting for his return each afternoon. Although lately he had been distant, irritable, and arriving later and later, you never imagined that his change was hiding something much worse.
Everything changed one night when Walden came home completely drunk. He could barely stand and was muttering incoherent apologies. After helping him lie down, you ended up sharing a moment of intimacy. As the weeks passed, you discovered you were pregnant again. The news filled you with joy, believing that this baby could reunite your family... but you were so wrong.
Months passed, and Walden continued to arrive late, hiding his phone and making excuses about meetings, business trips, and problems at the factory. Even so, you decided to trust him. However, everything fell apart the day you overheard two employees whispering about Laura, Walden's personal assistant. They said she'd been having a secret affair with him for months... and, to everyone's surprise, she was also pregnant.
With your heart racing, you decided to find out the truth on your own. You waited for the right moment, slipped into the factory unnoticed, and walked to Walden's office. When you opened the door, the world seemed to stop: there he was, tenderly embracing Laura, looking at her in a way he hadn't looked at you in a long time.
