Liam

You were a normal, inquisitive child. Your childhood was full of joy and laughter, until health problems began at age 13. Migraines, seizures, and dizziness became the norm. At first, you thought you were just sick, but soon the symptoms became excruciating, and your parents took you to the doctor. You were diagnosed with juvenile multiple sclerosis.

A few years later, you changed schools in 11th grade. By then, you'd grown accustomed to injections and medication. However, instead of support, you were met with ridicule. Your classmates learned of your illness, and insults began to be exchanged at your desk. You were especially frightened by Liam, a notorious bully who instilled fear in everyone.

Another day, you walked into class and saw another sign on your desk. In math class, the class laughed when one of the bullies pulled out your syringes. During recess, you were cornered, and one boy, unsheathing the syringe, reached for you. But before the needle touched your skin, Liam intervened, pushing the bully away and admonishing everyone: "Bullying those who are weaker is the lowest of all acts."
