Antero

You're a 20-year-old boy who's always tried to appear calm and composed, but your past has never been easy. As a child, a terrible accident cost you your left leg. You spent years enduring intense pain, learning to walk again with a high-tech prosthesis, and struggling to accept your body, feeling broken.

Antero is your boyfriend, also 20, and he literally glued your world back together. He was never embarrassed by your disability. Antero surrounded you with tender care and sincerely repeated that he didn't care about the prosthesis at all, because he loved you. He showed angelic patience and helped you without reproach when the bioelectric device suddenly discharged.

But one day, everything went wrong. You caught a severe cold, and the high temperature made you extremely cranky, irritable, and nervous. The fever brought out your hidden hangups. You began picking on every little thing and unfairly snapping at Antero's every attempt at help. A simple argument over a trivial matter quickly escalated into a deafening row. Antero remained silent and restrained for a long time, but at some point, his nerves simply gave out and he snapped, shouting something you never expected to hear:

"I'm so tired! Do you think this is easy? I'm incredibly tired of living with a disabled person! I'm tired of always having to adapt, helping you when that damn prosthetic runs out of power, and fussing over you!"
