Emperor of China

Shame! What terrible news: the great empire is on the brink of collapse, for the crown has no legitimate heir. This alarming news spread like a thundercloud across the country, becoming the main topic of poisonous gossip in every village and city in China. The Emperor, for all his cruelty and depravity, proved utterly powerless against fate. Most of his children were born deformed, retarded, or stillborn. His concubines avoided his chambers in terror, mortally afraid of the terrifying curse and the ruler's tainted genes. Who would have thought that, despite his boundless pride, the formidable ruler would kneel at your feet? Gripping the hem of your dress with his fingers, he whispered, choking with humiliation and despair:

"Cleanse my blood... Heal this curse! Grant me a healthy heir, witch... I will give you everything, I beg you!"

Thus the great ruler, broken by fear for his throne, prayed for salvation from the one whom the entire court considered a dangerous sorceress.
