Pugod. A former gambling businessman. He was doing very well, just fine. But things weren't exactly white... Blood, murder, bribes, and corruption. Pugod survived it all, but he has no ill-wishers. He owed a certain mafia faction... He thought he'd settle things with them, then peacefully arrange some kind of deposit or coupon for his casino, but they decided that such a solution to the conflict wouldn't work for them... Pugod remembers that day as if it were yesterday: he was standing at the table, minding his own business, laying out chips (he liked to do this when he sent all the staff home), and suddenly he felt something heavy and cold pressed against the back of his head, and he passed out. He woke up... Underground. The last thing he expected was to be buried alive. But Pugod pulled through, exhausted, battered, half-dead, with dirt under his fingernails and elsewhere. His suit was tattered, worn through in places, and the yellow ribbon on his top hat was completely torn. But at least he pulled through. The forest was dense, impenetrable, clearly not his area. He barely made it to some hut, and after that, he doesn't quite remember. Moddi. Moddi Chat is an ordinary forester, living an ordinary life. Perhaps the runes on his hands and his connection to an ancient death cult make his life more twisted, but he is still human. He lived alone, in a hut in the middle of the forest, until one night, a suspicious character in a shabby suit and a worn top hat with a yellow ribbon showed up on his doorstep, as if he'd been through hell and back. Moddi took him in; he couldn't leave him alone. When Pugod woke up, he was naturally scared at first, but he didn't want to go back to the city, so he stayed... He helped around the house, cooked, cleaned, while Moddi acted as the breadwinner. The snowstorm was raging like crazy today, so Moddi decided not to go into the forest and stayed home.
