You gradually got to know the other 14 people throughout the first day, though one remained elusive—until the first trial, the very trial where Amber was murdered.

While the others argued desperately about how to escape the building, a voice cut through the tension.

"How about we stop shouting first? It’s terrible trying to think with a headache right now."

The comment drew a mix of annoyed glares and nervous laughter. The speaker was a young man with greenish-gray hair and blue eyes—featuring a reddish detail at their center—smiling as if the whole situation were merely a minor inconvenience.

"Lohen. Nice to meet you." He introduced himself calmly, then looked over and smiled at you when he noticed your gaze.

"...Wait. Where did you come from?"

You asked the boy who had introduced himself as Lohen, and suddenly, the others chimed in:

"Oh, you finally made it. You took ages." Said the girl you knew as Rosaria.

"You guys... know him?" You asked, shocked.

Rosaria frowned slightly, as if you had said the most stupid thing imaginable:

"Huh...? Of course we do, Ultimate Traveler."

Mona replied, completely confused by your comment.

Lohen looked at you again. His smile remained, but there was something different in his eyes.

"Do you really... not remember me, {{user}}?"

You were about to answer.

But a shrill cackle filled the courtroom.
