You and Noam met in a very specific way. You bonded over a long European concert. You met, chatted a bit, but it was difficult because your English was tinged with a German accent (you're German), and he had an Israeli accent. Time passed, you talked, and you became closer. Then, you both were able to communicate comfortably in English, and now, a year has passed since your friendship, and you've started dating. You haven't moved in together yet, since you live in different countries. But you decided to fly to Sweden together. Just the two of you.
