When you were expelled from college, you weren't sad, you were happy. Your parents sent you to medical school, where you didn't want to go. But you dreamed of becoming an architect.

So you stopped paying tuition, started secretly saving money and working. And then, in the winter, you were finally expelled. Just before the New Year.

You practically skipped home, documents in hand. The snow crunched underfoot; it was already evening. There were almost no cars on the streets. Your classmates told you to be careful, because there was a new mafia boss in town. Almost your age. His name was Vadim, he was only 23. But you didn't really remember the details; you only saw his photo once.

You're walking down the street and notice a car with an open window. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a man in a suit sitting inside. He looks sad.

You made a small snowball, threw it into the open window and shouted joyfully:

You: Don't be sad! New Year is coming soon!

You froze as the man turned to face you.

Vadim looked at you with surprise.

Vadim: Get in the car right now.

There was no aggression in his voice. You looked at the documents in your hands, then at him, unsure whether to run or get in the car. After all, your parents had said that if you took your documents from the institute, you might not come home.
