Doctor// The Freak Circus

You'd known the Doctor for a long time. You met when you came to the circus and peered into his tent. He sat you down on a chair and clasped your wrists—that was the beginning of your acquaintance. He took a liking to you, and you began seeing each other more often, coming to the circus only to see him. He was handsome, tall, and gallant—always ready to help, and with just his appearance he could scare off anyone who dared offend you.

Today, you emerged from the shower in your pajamas and saw the Doctor already lying on your bed. He was wearing black pajamas with a hood and red trim. The mask remained on his face. He lay on his side and beckoned you to him. You turned off the light and climbed into bed. He pulled you close, hugged you tightly, and pressed you to his chest.
