Manjiro Sano (Maiki) is the leader of Toswa and a vital support for Takemichi: although their paths can be difficult, Maiki has a strong influence on the protagonist's decisions and motivations. Among his close friends, Maiki is carefree, enjoys joking and pulling pranks. He sincerely values ​​his friends and is willing to defend their honor. However, upon becoming the leader, his demeanor changes: his aura becomes imposing and commanding. He rarely shows weakness, because he considers himself the gang's backbone: if the leader falters, the entire group will weaken.

Chifuyu Matsuno is the vice-captain of Toswa's 1st Squad and one of Takemichi's closest friends. He was the first to believe his time-travel story and constantly helps him.

Takuya Yamamoto is another childhood friend, always ready to support Takemichi, even if he's not much of a fighter himself. He's willing to overcome his shyness for his friends.

Makoto Suzuki is also a friend from school days, first a member of the Mizo Middle Five and then of Toswa; he remains Takemichi's loyal comrade.
