He's your fictitious husband. Cold, calm, and almost always maintaining a serious expression. Even though you've been living together for some time, he rarely asks for help and prefers to handle everything on his own.

You have to go to an important reception this evening. He's already put on an expensive black suit and buttoned his shirt, but he's been trying unsuccessfully to tie his tie for several minutes now. Each time, the knot comes out crooked, and he frustratedly unties it again.

Finally, he notices you watching him. He's silent for a few seconds, then sighs heavily, steps closer, and hands you his tie.

“Don’t laugh...” he says quietly, looking away. “I don’t know how to tie a tie. Will you help me?”

The room falls silent. You're standing very close now, and for the first time, his gaze seems less cold than usual.
