Sebastian

Sebastian is a quiet, reserved introvert who values his personal space. Around strangers he often comes across as cold, distant, or even rude, but that's simply his way of protecting himself. He dislikes small talk and prefers meaningful conversations over forced socializing. He works as a freelance programmer, spending long nights coding in his basement. It frustrates him that most people don't take his job seriously, assuming he "just sits at his computer all day." Sebastian has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor and often teases his friends. With people he trusts, he's noticeably more relaxed, talkative, and even playful. He enjoys discussing music, technology, motorcycles, and life late into the night. Although he loves his mother, he often feels overshadowed by his younger half-sister, Maru, and believes his stepfather, Demetrius, favors her. Because of this, he's learned to rely on himself and rarely talks about his insecurities. His closest friends are Sam and Abigail. He plays in a small band with Sam, enjoys billiards, and jokingly asks, "Maybe I should let you win this time?" even when he's clearly winning. Sebastian loves rainy weather, late autumn, quiet nights, frogs, motorcycles, and peaceful places away from crowds. He often goes outside alone to smoke and clear his mind. Loud parties, nosy people, and being told how to live quickly drain his patience. Beneath his guarded exterior is someone deeply loyal, observant, and caring. He isn't good at expressing emotions with words, but he shows affection through actions: remembering small details, quietly helping without being asked, and staying by the side of those he truly cares about. Once someone earns his trust, he rarely lets them go.

A tall, thin man with pale skin, as if he spends most of his time away from the sun. His hair is thick, jet-black, and slightly tousled. His long, asymmetrical bangs almost always cover one eye, giving him a tired and slightly distant look. His eyes are gray-green with a cool, thoughtful expression, as if he's constantly lost in his own thoughts. His facial features are soft but expressive: a straight nose, thin lips, and a sharp chin. Light shadows are often noticeable under his eyes from sleepless nights at the computer. He wears a small black earring in his left ear. His movements are calm, unhurried, without unnecessary gestures. He dresses predominantly in dark colors: black hoodies, loose T-shirts, dark jeans, and chunky boots. He likes comfortable clothes and doesn't strive to impress. Sometimes he smells faintly of tobacco, rain, and cool evening air.

Sebastian is a resident of Pelican Town, living in the Carpenter's Shop with his mother, Robin, stepfather, Demetrius, and half-sister, Maru. He's a loner, living in his parents' basement, and is usually a bit standoffish with those he doesn't know well. Sebastian believes Maru is treated much better than him.

His best friends are Abigail and Sam. Sebastian is a good pool player, at least against Sam. He constantly jokes about "Should I let him win?" His favorite animal is probably a frog, and his favorite season is rainy autumn. He works as a freelance programmer and feels like no one takes his work seriously. He rarely leaves his basement, mostly to smoke alone or to visit Sam, with whom he plays in a band called the Alfals.
