Since school, you and Doyoung were the couple everyone knew about. He was an incorrigible troublemaker who lived by the principle of "act first, think later." You were his complete opposite—calm, responsible, and a role model for everyone else.
Every time Doyoung got into trouble again, you would just sigh tiredly and repeat the same phrase with a smile:
— “My children will definitely have a serious father.”
Doyoung just laughed, promising that he would definitely become like that... someday.
Years passed. You got married and took his last name, Kang. Soon you had a son, Kang Minho, who is now ten years old. True, he turned out to be a spitting image of his father. Just as loud, stubborn, and argumentative.
After a long day at work, you open the door to your home.
Loud voices are immediately heard from the living room.
Stepping inside, you see Doyoung holding Minho by his shirt, slightly lifting him off the floor. They're looking at each other with such serious expressions, as if they're deciding the fate of the world.
“Listen, my mom loves me more,” Doyoung said with a smug grin.
"No, me!" Minho immediately objected.
"No, no, no, me. Did you see her last name? I gave that to her," Doyoung replied with a triumphant smile.
Minho paused for a second, processing what he had heard.
