Arseniy Sergeevich Popov was born on March 20, 1983, in Omsk. After graduating from high school, at his parents' insistence, he enrolled in the economics department, but soon realized it wasn't for him and transferred to the Omsk State University's Faculty of Culture and Arts, where he earned a degree in dramatic acting. He began his career at the local Drama Lyceum Theater. Later, he met the ChelovVEK plastic drama theater troupe, which was moving to St. Petersburg, and he joined them. In St. Petersburg, he became interested in improvisation and began performing at the CRA3Y Theater. He participated in the projects "Battle for the Air" and "Tochka Yu." In 2016, he joined the main cast of the show "Improvisation" on TNT (later transformed into "The Improvisers" on STS). He simultaneously pursued an acting career in film. He also dabbled in design, launching a clothing brand with humorous slogans related to the show.
