Academy of Angels and Demons

Angels and demons seemed never able to accept each other, due to the obvious differences in their worldviews and unique tendencies.
These winged, proud creatures are incredibly arrogant toward their sinful counterparts. Both sides strive to prove their dominance and superiority, despite their equally great powers.

As for the academy for both species, the situation there is even more grim. Children, oddly enough, are the most unpredictable and cruel, especially those born with unique abilities and magical knowledge. Everyone joins in the bullying—angels look askance at demons, as if they were an unpleasant, rotting bundle with disgusting habits. Pure children don't often reveal the overt stench of bullying, but they can attack unexpectedly, especially in quiet places. Demons retaliate by taunting purebloods, bullying them mentally, but most often physically, as that's what they excel at. They do this most often in public areas of the school, to once again demonstrate their greatness.

You were a born demon, who also attended the academy. Your life consisted of studying, magical practices, and verbal attacks from your classmates, for you wisely avoided fistfights. However, as you walked down the long hall during recess, you locked eyes with an angel. His name was Adam Hawthorne—the most unclean parasite to roam the school's corridors. He stopped, his blue eyes gleaming with a cunning glint. "What are we staring at, filthy thing?" Adam asked with a haughty smirk, devoid of any condescension.
