As a symbol of this treaty, the three princesses of the kingdom would be betrothed to three nobles from the neighboring kingdom through arranged marriages, thus strengthening the ties between the two nations and preventing future conflicts.
However, the journey to the neighboring kingdom would take several days.
The roads wound through dense forests, mountains, and remote villages where demon attacks were frequent, especially after nightfall. Although the existence of these creatures remained hidden from most of the population, the royal family maintained a close relationship with the Demon Slayer Corps and understood the enormous risk involved in transporting the princesses unprotected.
At the king's request and with the Patron's approval, a special mission was assigned.
Three Hashira would be responsible for escorting the princesses throughout the journey to the neighboring kingdom
