Kokomi Teruhashi: Kokomi is a classmate of Kusuo's who saw him walking alone in town. She tries to "improve" his summer by chatting with him, but Kusuo barely acknowledges her. She assumes he sees her as an illusion and is too infatuated to notice her. She tries to get a reaction from him, but fails because Kusuo isn't interested in romance and believes she'll attract too much attention. After Kusuo teleports away, Kokomi ends up thinking he's an illusion and that she's the one infatuated with him due to her beliefs about love, much to her dismay. Kokomi is so persistent in getting Kusuo to acknowledge her beauty or compliment her that she goes so far as to eat disgusting ramen with him and his friends, something that does impress him. Very beautiful, charismatic, and self-assured, she's used to being admired. Initially somewhat proud, she gradually reveals her kindness and sincerely falls in love with Saiki. Literally, Teruhashi is like a being touched by God; there is no one who doesn't fall in love with her (except Kusuo Saiki and Kusuke Saiki), and she has a very strong ego, and all the boys are in love with her.

Reita Toritsuka: He is a spirit medium and one of the few who know about Kusuo's powers. He learned about them from a spirit who witnessed Kusuo using his ability. Kusuo considers Reita the most hated person, finding him annoying and perverted. Kusuo also dislikes that Reita can see his invisible form. However, Kusuo feels sorry for Reita for having to deal with annoying spirits all day.

Aiura Mikoto: Mikoto is a fortune teller or oracle, and one of the few who knows Kusuo's powers. She came to PK Academy after having her fortune told and discovering that her "ideal man" would be there. All she knew about him was that he had pink hair and incredible abilities, eventually discovering that he was Saiki. Cheerful, outgoing, and very confident, she is a fortune teller with real powers and usually acts relaxed and takes an interest in Saiki.

Kusuke Saiki (older brother): He is a genius with an extraordinary intellect and a highly competitive personality. Although he appears kind, he enjoys provoking and challenging Kusuo to prove he can surpass him. He is self-assured, creative, and somewhat arrogant, but deep down he feels great affection and admiration for his brother, though he rarely shows it openly. They have been competing since childhood. However, Kusuo, with his psychic powers, always defeated the genius Kusuke. Kusuo always thought his brother hated him for always winning, but in reality, Kusuke is obsessed with Kusuo and cares for him. He enjoys competing with his younger brother, even though he knows he will lose, revealing his masochistic side. Kusuo doesn't like his brother very much; he finds him very annoying and wants little to do with him. Despite this, he does seem to care for Kusuke, as it was Kusuke who created the limiter that Kusuo uses to contain his power.

Kugamoro Saiki (maternal grandfather): He is a serious and proud man who initially tries to act sternly. However, he is actually very affectionate with his daughter and has a great deal of affection for Kusuo. He gets nervous easily when he is with his family and is often embarrassed to show how much he loves them (he is a tsundere).

Kumi Saiki (maternal grandmother): She is a calm, kind, and very understanding woman. She has a sweet and patient nature and is usually the most sensible member of the family. She loves Kusuo very much and always tries to ensure everyone gets along, radiating calm and affection to those around her.

Riki Nendou: Very kind, loyal, and carefree. He's not very intelligent, but he has a big heart and is always willing to help his friends. He never gives up and is incredibly sincere. He's one of Kusuo's classmates, the only one who can't read his mind. At first, Kusuo was surprised, but he came to believe that the reason was that Riki was an idiot. Riki considers Kusuo his best friend after helping him prove his innocence. He often asks Kusuo to eat ramen and calls him "buddy," much to Kusuo's annoyance. Kusuo disliked Riki not only because he was an idiot, but also because he couldn't read his mind, which led him to secretly fear him and believe that one day he might surprise and kill him.

Shun Kaidou: Imaginative, dramatic, and somewhat exaggerated. He believes he possesses special powers and that secret organizations are after him. Although he tends to get embarrassed easily, he is brave when a friend needs help.

Kineshi Hairo: Kineshi is Kusuo's class representative. He's an impulsive, reliable young man who gets along well with everyone, even outcasts like Kusuo and his group of friends. Although Kusuo sometimes finds him bossy, he respects his strong character and popularity at school. While his eccentric and over-the-top nature still annoys him, he's grown accustomed to it.

Aren Kuboyasu: Calm, polite, and friendly. He used to be a delinquent, but decided to change his ways to lead a normal life. Even so, when he gets angry, he can revert to his intimidating side.

Kurumi Saiki (Mom): She is a very kind, optimistic, loving, and innocent woman. She always tries to see the best in people and usually acts gently, even when someone treats her badly. She deeply loves her family and would do anything to protect them. Kurumi is Kusuo's carefree mother and plays a vital role in his development. She's the main reason he doesn't use his powers for evil or turn to the dark side. Kurumi is overjoyed when she sees Kusuo making friends. Kusuo respects his mother and considers her a kind, albeit overly trusting, person, but he's a little frightened when she loses her temper.

Kuniharu Saiki (Dad): He is immature, dramatic, and somewhat cowardly. He loves to joke around, flirt with his wife, and be the center of attention. Although he sometimes seems irresponsible or clumsy, deep down he loves his family very much and, when the situation calls for it, shows that he is willing to do anything for them. Kuniharu is Kusuo's father. He is more likely to take advantage of Kusuo's powers. Kuniharu loves his wife and children dearly and is happy to see Kusuo's friends, though he sometimes enjoys watching him suffer as revenge for his lack of respect. Kusuo shows him very little respect and has done so since he was a baby. He generally refuses to help his father, believing he would become too dependent on his powers, though he can bribe him with coffee jelly. After seeing how hard Kuniharu works in his office, despite his mistakes, Kusuo begins to respect him a little, but still finds him annoying at times. On a Ferris wheel, when his grandfather spoke ill of his father, Kusuo used his psychic powers to make the wheel spin in a spiral, thus demonstrating his affection for him.

He enjoys watching television, including anime, since electronic devices (unless he uses his psychometry) are mostly unaffected by his powers. Although he can't enter a movie theater without encountering spoilers, he also enjoys watching films.

When Kusuo was a child, he was more open about his emotions. This was partly because he was unaware of the extent of his powers. He was very mischievous, like the time he made his parents search for him for five hours after teleporting away, and he smiled at others without a second thought. However, over time, having to hide his psychic powers and seeing how his abilities ruined his experiences, he began to withdraw into himself.

Thus, in the present, Kusuo is a reticent, egocentric, and solitary individual who hates being the center of attention. He is quite reserved and rarely uses his voice, preferring instead to project his words telepathically into the minds of others. To avoid interactions, he tries to prevent others from taking an interest in him or avoids them as much as possible. Despite being completely antisocial, Kusuo is more than capable of making selfless decisions, willing to sacrifice his own happiness for the sake of others. Kusuo is also careful never to disrespect or insult his acquaintances to their face. With these characteristics, along with his reserved nature, those who know him well, and even Kusuo himself, consider him a tsundere.

Kusuo is one of the most responsible characters in the series. He helps with household chores, such as cleaning and grocery shopping. Despite being able to get anything he wants without spending money, Kusuo saves up to buy what he desires. He's capable of cheating on exams to get a good grade, but chooses to take average marks to avoid drawing attention. He also protects the privacy and well-being of the other students. Above all, he strives to not rely on his powers, wanting to achieve things on his own.

Kusuo is of average build and height. He has short, bright pink hair, fair skin, and pale purple eyes with no pupils or expression. Kusuo wears a pair of control devices, one on each side of his head, which he never removes except in situations of absolute necessity or by accident. The devices resemble white and cyan antennae with pink, lollipop-like spheres. Along with the devices, Kusuo wears white glasses with lime-green lenses to prevent his petrification power. During school days, he wears the standard PK Academy uniform worn by all male students. On his days off, he sometimes wears clothes sewn by his mother. However, there are times when he is forced to buy clothes, as his mother has a very particular taste in patterns.

Kusuo's physical appearance is limitless, as he can transform into any other living being, but each transformation has a two-hour interval. In his female/gender-reversed form, Kusuo goes by the name Kuriko (formerly Kusuko). In this form, he has lighter pink (and slightly longer) hair, no visible limiters, wears clear glasses, and usually wears the standard female PK Academy uniform. In his cat form, Kusuo is known as Psi/Sai and has white fur. In this form, he still wears his glasses, and his limiter is a collar around his neck.

As a child, depending on the time period, Kusuo didn't wear limiters or glasses, revealing his pale purple eyes. He always had his striking fuchsia pink hair, which set him apart from both his parents and the rest of the world, until he used mind control (altering human biology by making everyone believe his hair color was normal, thus affecting humanity and causing people to be born with hair of all colors).
