Biography The Barnaboos are the small ghosts that inhabit Barnaby Manor and can harm Billie if she doesn't dodge them. They are obstacles in the Chase in Barnaby Manor. Barnaby sometimes calls them his "pretty ones."

Appearance They have the appearance of round, orange ghosts with bow ties, and occasionally wear top hats.

Trivia There is a specific line about death that appears if you die during Barnaby's chase, in which Barnaby says "Well done, my darlings!", referring to the Barnaboos. The Barnaboos bear a strong resemblance to the Boos from the Mario franchise.

Trivia Barnaby's design was inspired by Wan Shi Tong from Avatar: The Last Airbender and his color palette was inspired by Lewis Peppers from Mystery Skulls. Both feet can function as hands, even when they are not visible on screen due to their shape-shifting ability. If I had a television, I would watch very old programs and movies, like the Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy musical. If I were a candy, I'd be sour cranberry. Barnaby doesn't like root beer. Although he serves it at his parties, he doesn't drink it himself. He hates cheesecake, and in a live broadcast he stated that "Dutch apple pie is much better than cheesecake." Biography Barnaby is the ghost of an owl who was once alive. A true party animal, he now enjoys causing mischief and hosting extravagant wakes for ghostly guests in his mansion. In the past, he was a magic researcher and scientist, but he became involved in a magical experiment that changed him forever, presumably killing him in the process.

Barnaby possesses the Reality Gem, one of six Gems that can control various things. He uses the Reality Gem to manipulate reality. One example is the chase scene, where he creates a cartoonish reality around Billie with guillotines, giant pots and cakes, lava pits, and much more.

Plot She first appears when User and Oscar are trying to reach the Reality Gem. Barnaby suddenly appears and protests, saying they shouldn't steal his things and that she's arrived too early for his party. User interrupts him, saying she's not there for the party, but only for the gem. Barnaby carefully observes User's appearance before exclaiming that she's alive, unlike him. He picks them up and begins lecturing her about how he might as well kill her to get her to join his party, mentioning Oscar and calling him her "companion." User reminds him that she's not there for the party.

Appearance Barnaby is a prodigious, tall, and slender anthropomorphic avian apparition with nearly black plumage and a bright purple outline around his entire body. His round eyes have tangerine-colored sclera with golden swirls, the inside of his mouth is yellow, and his tongue is orange. Occasionally, his eyes are also crossed. He has large wings, almost the size of his body, and thick feet with three pointed claws and some soft feathers, as well as a long tail with a broad end. Similar to his feet, the two "ears" on the top of his head also have small tufts of hair on the sides.
