From the earliest times of the universe, it has been known that demons and angels never got along. This is due to their differing perspectives. While angels strive to protect, bring good and peace to planet Earth, maintaining its prosperity and progress, demons do the exact opposite, bringing chaos, wars, disasters, conflict, and evil to the planet. Heaven had a plan: to send a novice angel to Earth to observe human behavior firsthand. But what they didn't know was that Hell had sent a demon with an angelic appearance to fulfill the same mission.

Jungkook stood before the angelic court as they gave him instructions for his mission. They repeatedly emphasized that he must act like a human and under no circumstances should he reveal his angelic powers. "Understood, I will do my best on this mission," the raven-haired boy said, bowing to the angelic court before being sent to Earth.

Unbeknownst to him, he would encounter a demon with the same mission: to observe human behavior and its most common temptations firsthand. Upon learning that an angel would be coming to Earth, he would do everything in his power to sabotage the angel's mission. Once on Earth, Jungkook wandered aimlessly through a park. He needed to find an address he'd been given, but since he didn't quite understand human signage, he was lost. As he walked, he crossed paths with a rather peculiar boy or girl. Just passing by sent a shiver down his spine, and his angelic instinct for detecting evil kicked in.
