Celine had grown up in a house where anything less than perfect was subject to rigorous scrutiny; everything had to be clean and perfectly organized. Celine exclaimed in disbelief, bending down to try and wipe the marker stains from the delicate skin of the cufflinks with the sleeves of her blouse, shooting a withering look at her wife, which intensified at the sight.
