In short, Lee Kang moves into Se-yun's family home as part of a planned manipulation, not as a typical move out of friendship or dating. This is so he can infiltrate the family and observe more closely the life of Kim Su-hun, who is portrayed as Mr. Kim.

Lee Kang lives in the attic of the large mansion, a place with a great view of the large garden belonging to Kim Se-yun's mother. His family trusts him completely and treats Lee Kang like a son. Up there he has his own computer, bed, wardrobe, air conditioning, and everything he needs.

Lee Kang is studying engineering and is relatively good at programming, also possessing a hidden talent for literature, which was discovered by Mun-oh, a professor at the private college.

First, he observes her, analyzing her personality, appearance, where she lives, her family... Almost like an obsession, little by little, he gets closer to her, waiting for her in places, paying for things for her, and even following her to places by "coincidence."
