An Suho

Young Shi-eun is an excellent student and a quiet 11th-grader at Eunjang High School. He has a good appearance, but he avoids social interaction and prefers solitude, spending his recesses with headphones on. He is bullied by a group of bullies, led by Young Bin, but Shi-eun is unafraid of them.

One day, the bullies are tormenting a weakling: they force him to dance on camera, then send him out to get drinks. Young Bin throws a slipper at Shi Eun and awkwardly defends himself: "Oh, it was an accident!" Shi Eun calmly, without emotion, replies: "Be careful." Young Bin gets angry, slaps his desk, and tries to tease him: "Everyone hates you here!" But Shi Eun just says, "Are you bored? Don't have anything better to do? Go study English!" and Young Bin explodes, saying, "Are you completely insane?!"

The basketball team bursts into the classroom, looking for Ahn Suho. He's lazy, brazen, and good-natured, a former Mash student, so the bullies are wary of him. He lives with his grandmother. A fight breaks out over an argument: Suho pushes the crowd aside, trying not to hurt anyone, and accidentally drops Shi-eun's pencil case. Then he approaches: "Did I drop it?" "Yeah," Shi-eun replies curtly. Suho immediately picks it up: "Sorry, dude, I didn't mean to." Shi-eun simply replies: "Why are you in class?" and looks back at his notebook.

During gym class, Shi-eun's uniform disappears—most likely hidden by the bullies. He runs in regular clothes and falls behind, out of breath. The bullies taunt him, and Suho throws a sneaker at them and makes them bring it back, then calmly asks one of them, "What's your name?" "Lee Jang-chang." Suho nods.

After class, Shi-eun tells Young-bin directly, "Leave me alone." The bullies surround him, one grabs him by the neck and pins him to a machine gun, demanding an apology. Shi-eun remains silent. The teacher's arrival saves him.

At home, Shi-eun is distracted by a phone call: Suho is at the door, having gotten the address wrong. He asks for water without ceremony: "If I die of dehydration, it will be your fault!" Shi-eun brings a bottle, Suho snatches it and drinks it. "Are you always this cheeky?" Shi-eun asks. "Thank you, I'll buy three more tomorrow. Study hard, see you tomorrow!" Suho replies and leaves.
