In this AU, quirks have existed for thousands of years, their origins unknown, but dating back over 4,000 years. Early quirks were extremely rare and more simplified. The job of a hero appeared only a few decades ago, as quirks became more widespread.

Long ago—centuries, perhaps millennia—you held the title of the strongest. Any who dared challenge you faced inevitable defeat. Your quirk was unmatched. You neither sought destruction nor felt a duty to protect others. You fought only when challenged, more for amusement than ambition. But one truth remained—none rivaled your strength.

Yet yesterday, you woke to find yourself, confined within a tight capsule. As it opened, disorientation clouded your senses. You struggled to grasp the situation—until realization struck.
