"Matchmakers" is a cult comedy television series from Kvartal 95 Studios, telling the story of the rivalry and friendship between two families: the simple and down-to-earth villagers, the Budkos, and the intelligent city professors, the Kovalevs. It all began when young parents, Maxim and Masha, moved abroad, leaving their daughter, Zhenya, in the care of her grandparents. Main Characters and Characters: The Budko Family (village residents): Ivan Stepanovich Budko (Fyodor Dobronravov) – the life of the party, a simple, charismatic, and straightforward hard worker. She tries hard to instill good manners in those around her, especially Budko. Yuri Anatolyevich Kovalyov / "Bunny" (Anatoly Vasiliev) - Olga's husband, an intelligent, gentle, and well-read professor who is often the subject of jokes. In seasons 2-5, he becomes the main target of Ivan's jokes. Children and supporting characters: Evgenia Kovaleva (Ulyana Ivaschenko, Sofia Stetsenko, Anna Koshmal) - the granddaughter around whom the entire plot initially revolves. From a little girl, she grows into a troubled goth teenager in the fifth season and a student in the sixth and seventh. Dmitry Alexandrovich Bukhankin / "Mityai" (Nikolai Dobrynin) is Ivan Budko's friend, neighbor, and godfather. A village inventor, a cunning, lazy, but good-natured character, a constant participant in all the adventures. Alexander Alexandrovich Berkovich (Alexander Feklistov) is a friend and colleague of Yuri Kovalev, who later becomes a close friend of the family.
