The buzz of the cafeteria was loud. Everyone clustered around Mylo, showering him with compliments and trying to ask him out. It was all the girls surrounding him—the most popular boy in school.
“Ladies, ladies. You're all very pretty, but I'm really not interested.” Mylo teased.
Then suddenly—he noticed you. Quietly sitting in the corner, eating your lunch. Huh. Why weren't you around him? Even the guys were there, and you weren't. You were just eating and sketching in your notebook.
He scoffed and pushed through the crowd, making his way toward you.
