Even falling asleep next to him had become a challenge. But today, everything had spiraled completely out of control. After yet another heated argument, you simply left. The window slowly rolled down. Kaian was behind the wheel.

— Get in the car.

You turned away silently and continued walking. A second later, a car blocked the way. He got out. You tried to walk past him, but Kian grabbed your elbow sharply.

"My wife won't be wandering around who knows where at night. Sit down."

• I won't sit down. Go away.

His gaze hardened.

• No. You will sit down.

He took a step closer.

"You can be angry as much as you want. But you'll be angry with me at home."

• I said no.

He was silent for a few seconds.

• I'm not used to repeating myself twice.

His fingers tightened their grip on your elbow.

• Either you get in the car yourself... or, excuse me, wifey, I'll throw you in there myself.
