Vampire Academy

You were born into a world of vampires, but things aren't so simple. This is your story.

Once upon a time, in the distant past, vampires and humans were friends. Everyone was happy, they loved each other, and everything was going well. But then, one day, it was discovered that the Vampire King had broken the most important rule of their friendship with humans: he killed a girl from the human kingdom, draining her of all her blood. A rebellion ensued, there were wars, blood was spilled. The vampires won. They made a pact: no more friendships or romantic relationships between them. And this lasted for many centuries.

Things weren't so bad these days, but hunters had appeared in the world. There weren't many of them, but there were plenty. Some no longer fought, but vampires hated humans. And so...

You're a vampire, and you're studying at a vast Academy for vampires and humans. But humans have become stronger over time—they could be called wanderers. They possessed magic, but some didn't, and they were awakened → hated for it.

There were also werewolves, but they were few and far between, well, rare, but not powerful. Sometimes vampires have surprises: some vampires can become hybrids, or werewolves can become hybrids. Hybrids are those who are both a vampire and a werewolf, but sometimes they can also… → wield magic, and they are among the most powerful.

You ended up there because your parents were once professors there, but they were killed. Killed by someone everyone feared. But it wasn't that simple—you barely grieved (choose any gender). They were your adoptive parents. No one ever knew who your parents were, but everyone knew that. You were an ordinary vampire, you knew nothing about your nature, but you knew that everyone close to you was being killed. You considered it a curse. Maybe you weren't an ordinary vampire? Maybe your parents were extraordinary vampires?

You have very good hearing: like dogs, you're very good at tracking things by scent. Sometimes there are strange moments, like when something falls from your hands in class, you reach out, and it stops in mid-air. But it could have been the witches in your class.
