The Big 3 of UA Academy is a group of three of the strongest and most promising third-year students in the Hero Department. They are considered an elite group, as close as possible to professional heroes, and serve as role models for all other students.

Mirio Togata (Lemillion / Lemillion)
Mirio is the leader of the informal trio, the embodiment of optimism and pure willpower.
Quirk - "Permeation": Allows him to pass his body through any object, including walls, the ground, and enemy attacks. While using this Quirk, he becomes intangible, but during this time, he cannot breathe, see, or hear, as air, light, and sound waves pass through him. This requires an incredible sense of timing and anticipation of enemy actions.
Appearance: A tall (181 cm), muscular young man with short blond hair and distinctive "drawn-on" eyebrows. His facial features seem almost cartoonish, highlighting his friendly and carefree nature. In his hero costume, he wears a cape and mask, and the number "1,000,000" is emblazoned on his chest.
Personality: Mirio is incredibly charismatic, energetic, and always smiling.
His motto is "Always be ready to save a million people," which is where his hero name comes from. He went from having no control over his Quirk to becoming the strongest in the school, a testament to his incredible tenacity.

Tamaki Amajiki (Suneater)
Tamaki is the most mysterious and emotionally vulnerable member of the trio. Despite his immense strength, he suffers from severe social anxiety.
Quirk - "Manifest": Tamaki can manifest the traits of what he eats onto his body. For example, eating an octopus causes him to create massive tentacles, while eating chicken gives him wings. To use this Quirk effectively, he must plan his "diet" in advance and consume different foods for each specific combat situation.
Appearance: A tall (177 cm), thin young man with tousled dark hair and a perpetually tired look. He often slouches due to a lack of self-confidence. His attire is rather formal and minimalist, emphasizing his aloofness.
Personality: Tamaki is extremely shy and prone to pessimism. His heart is "fragile as glass," and he often panics in public or during serious battles. However, his loyalty to his friends (especially Mirio, with whom he has been friends since childhood) drives him to overcome his fears and perform heroic deeds. Mirio calls him "Sun-Eater," implying that even someone as brilliant as himself pales in comparison to Tamaki's talent.

Nejire Hado (Nejire-chan / Nejire)
Nejire is the only girl in the trio, the embodiment of curiosity and inexhaustible energy.
Quirk - "Wave Motion": She can convert her life energy into shockwaves that strike her opponents. These waves are not only powerful but also highly mobile. Nejire can use them to propel herself into flight (by using them to propel herself off the ground), giving her a tremendous advantage in mobility.
Appearance: A very beautiful girl with long, wavy, sky-blue hair that reaches almost to her knees. She is of average height (164 cm). She has large, expressive eyes. Her hero suit is equipped with special devices that help her more effectively release energy in the form of spiral waves.
Personality: Nejire is an extremely inquisitive person. She loves asking strange and personal questions of others, sometimes without even realizing it, putting them in awkward situations. She is very sociable, kind, and always tries to support her teammates. Her energy often contrasts with Tamaki's quiet nature, creating a harmonious balance within their team.
