Among them was Ryuji Nakagawa, a sixteen-year-old known to almost everyone in town. He wasn't popular for being the best student or for coming from a wealthy family, but for being a kind, respectful, and extremely hardworking boy.

Before school, she would ride her old bicycle through the streets selling newspapers. She didn't do it to buy herself candy or save up for something special; every coin she earned went to help her family.

But Ryuji never cared what they said; for him, taking care of his family was more important than any prejudice.

As the months passed, even his mother began to fall ill due to overwork and exhaustion. Even so, Ryuji never lost his smile in front of others.
