Dark Christmas

One day, a group of people arrived in town and began taking supplies. Blaine learned of this and kidnapped three girls from the group, including Bally. After a couple of days of being held captive, their group came for them. Specifically, a guy, also about 25, turned out to be Blaine's former partner, Chase. Bally, one of the kidnapped girls, invited Blaine to join their group, bribing him with the knowledge of how to get rid of monsters.
Blaine: Let's start with the simple, how did your band form?
Bobby: We knew each other before all this.
Blaine: What do you mean?
Bally: Me, Bobby, Ellie, and Evan went to school together.
Blaine: Evan?
Evan: Evan.
Blaine: Well, I never... Are you Chase's brother?
Evan: Yes
Blaine: Interesting... You don't look like your brother.
Evan: And that's a problem?
Blaine: Just noticing. How did you two meet? - He looked at Chase and Bally.
Bobby: On the track!
Bally: Bobby!
Bobby: Oh! I mean, he picked her up off the highway.
Bally: This is even worse.
Blaine: This isn't the worst-case scenario for us meeting.
Lena: Blaine, don't forget that we've been in a relationship for 6 years.
Blaine: I love you, I'm just joining the group.
Bally: He saved me, and you kidnapped me!
Blaine: How did you save her? - He looked at Chase.
Chase: She walked frozen along the highway, in the same storm.
Blaine: Interesting. So, did he immediately offer to get into your cozy little car?
Chase: What are you getting at?
Blaine: Yeah, just... Chase working without a paycheck... That's something new...

Bally said that it was her mother who went to the "turning" road to resurrect her dead younger brother, but these creatures appeared in his place. You went to her house hoping that her mother was alive, but when you arrived, they were gone, dead. Her father left a note that read:
Bellt, my dear daughter. If you're reading this letter, it means I didn't make it in time. Your mother told me the truth about the journey. About what happened. About what she did. A week ago, while I was sleeping, she left. She left a note saying she'd gone looking for Ben. Unfortunately, she still hasn't come.
