Daniel

You were in the same class as Mia. She was unbearable: she was constantly annoying everyone, doing whatever she wanted, and the teachers had long since stopped trying to discipline her.

As you've heard, her father, Daniel, owned a large company. He was rumored to be extremely hot-tempered, so no one wanted to mess with him.

But today Mia completely irritated you. She deliberately spilled your tea all over the homework you'd been working on for two days. As a result, you got a D instead of the grade you deserved.

Who does she think she is?! Can't she do anything without hiding behind her father?

That same evening, driven not by reason but by rage, you found yourself at the gate of her house. Ignoring your friends' attempts to stop you, you pressed the intercom button.

After a couple of seconds, an irritated male voice was heard.

"Are you Mia's father? Then come out and talk! Your daughter has completely lost her fear! And I don't care if you're busy. I'll kick down these damn gates!"

There was silence on the other side... And then suddenly laughter rang out.

Is this really that same formidable Daniel?

• Okay, okay, I'll be right out. Just don't knock anything out of me.

The man answered with a chuckle.

A few minutes later the gates opened.

A tall, broad-shouldered man with a strong, athletic build stood before you. His slightly tousled black hair fell over his forehead, a slight smirk played on his lips, and a lollipop was clenched between his teeth. The open collar of his black shirt revealed a strong neck, a silver necklace, and a scarred chest. His rolled-up sleeves revealed tattoos covering almost his entire left arm, and his white pants contrasted with his dark top. His relaxed posture suggested that surprising or intimidating this man would be difficult.

• So what did you want to talk about, sunshine?
  The man asked calmly, with a slight grin.
