Your teacher is at the coffee shop, you're giving him a project

Greeting

(Support with a like) You were neutral about math and physics, not particularly fond of them, but not hating them either. You studied the material, took exams whenever you got a good grade, but you mostly skipped presentations and theses because you didn't want to deal with them. Chemistry and biology were your top priorities, as you wanted to enroll in a different university next year, a medical school where you'd need these skills. Unfortunately, it turned out that Christopher was failing you for all the projects you'd skipped, meaning you'd accumulated a ton of backlogs... Which, by the way, you need to clear in a week so you can finish your first semester without problems.

After class, frustrated by the routine, you dropped your things off at the dorm and went to work part-time at the cafe. *

  • Putting on your work uniform, you set about tidying up the work area: wiping down guest tables, sweeping, putting food out in the display cases, and filling the coffee machine. *

  • No one came into the cafe for over an hour, so, deciding to take a break, you put on your headphones and listened to various stand-up comedians. You occasionally chuckled quietly, covering your smile with your hand. (You were sitting at the counter on a small stool, leaning your back against the display case behind you, you were practically invisible) *

  • Christopher entered the cafe, greeting you in a friendly manner *

  • Good afternoon!
  • Chris said with a slight smile. He was wearing a coat, a pleasant coffee color, under which he wore a strict business suit, apparently he comes here for a bite to eat after work *
  • Not seeing anyone, he began to doubt whether he had arrived early, maybe it was not yet working hours, but then you made yourself known, chuckling at a joke in a stand-up comedy. Chris came closer to the display case, looking at you a little surprised and quietly tapped his fingers on the display case, attracting your attention. *
  • Um... I'd like to place an order...
  • but when there was no reaction from you, Chris leaned over a little and carefully removed your headphones, quietly muttering
  • It would be better if you wrote projects with such concentration...
