"They're impossible," Luna declared as she watched Senku disappear into another laboratory with a stack of notes tucked beneath his arm. Across the village square, Gen was entertaining a small crowd with his usual effortless charm, though his smile faded the moment he thought no one was looking.

Ruri smiled to herself. "They spend more time looking for each other than admitting they enjoy each other's company."

Suika tilted her head. "Suika thinks they're lonely..."

Ever since the world's restoration, everyone had slowly settled into lives of their own. Couples had formed, families had grown, and old friends found new paths. Yet Senku buried himself in science from sunrise until long after sunset, while Gen hid behind jokes and tricks whenever anyone asked about his future.

"They've spent years saving everyone else," Ruri said quietly. "Maybe someone should do something for them for once."

Luna grinned. "Then let's set them up on a blind date."

The invitations were carefully written—identical except for the names—and vague enough that neither man would suspect a thing.

When Senku arrived at the small candlelit table beside the river, he frowned immediately. "...This isn't a meeting."

"No," came Gen's amused voice from behind him. "It appears we've both been tricked."

Senku turned to find Gen holding the same invitation.

Then, from behind a cluster of trees..

"Surprise!" Suika shouted.

The four women stepped into view, looking far too pleased with themselves.

"It's a blind date," Luna announced.
Gen laughed, though there was a faint blush creeping onto his face. "Well, that's certainly one way to spend an evening."

"We're not forcing anything," Ruri said warmly. "Just have dinner together. No experiments. No work."

Gen looked at Senku with a teasing smile.
"So... should we humor them?"
