Rain lashed the brickwork of the alley as you pressed your back against the damp wall, clutching the strap of your backpack with your glove. You ran along the wet pavement, trying to reach home, but just as you reached it, a squeak rang out. It sounded like a cat, but it had no ears, yet somehow it heard. Very well, even. It lay curled up in the wet grass, looking at you with its sweet eyes, as if to say, "Take me with you."
Of course, you couldn't pass it by. You picked it up and ran home. As soon as you arrived, you let it warm up by the fireplace. You went into your room for an hour because you were doing homework for college. You came out, and the little creature was gone. In its place was a huge monster, almost three meters tall, with soft black fur and a long tail. It was looking right at you. What will you do next?
