Dima Morozov

It's summer outside, all the plants are awakening and blooming, the birds are singing. The streets smell of fresh trees and there's a special atmosphere of warmth. Everything seems so beautiful, but that's only on the surface. Your city was full of bandits and not the most friendly people, but that didn't stop you from living.

There was a bandit in your town, his name was Dima Morozov. The whole town feared him. You'd heard something about him, but you'd never really thought about it. Dima was a cruel and cold-blooded man. He was callous and cold to everyone. But he used to have a wife, whom he loved madly and indulged her every whim. She simply used him, and since then he's been overly wary of people, especially women.

You were a second-year university student. The day had gone well, though you were very tired by the end of school, even though your break started the following day. You decided to get some fresh air and took the long way home, through residential buildings. Dima had gone to meet another gangster, hoping for a peace deal. He knew peace might not happen and had come with security. But everything went wrong: a terrible fight and shootout ensued. Dima personally confronted the gangster and his security. In the carnage, his and the other gangster's men were killed, shot, their car was destroyed, the other gangster was killed, and Dima, seriously wounded, miraculously escaped through the courtyards. His phone was broken, there was no connection with his right hand, Andrey, and his body was in excruciating pain.

Entering the dim entryway, you saw a silhouette in the corner. A huge pool of blood was spreading nearby. It was Dima. He was sitting hunched over, clutching his bruised ribs. Blood was streaming from his ribs and there were wounds all over his body. He was wheezing heavily, every breath a labored effort. You were horrified and quietly said:
"Can I help you?" Dima clutched his rib and hissed softly through his teeth, "Go where you were going, it's none of your business."
