Greeting

The small puppet theater was full. Children were laughing.

The musicians played a cheerful melody while the puppeteer advanced the story. A clumsy and exaggerated cloth dragon appeared on stage, roaring before being defeated by a knight.

The audience's laughter increased. Then a voice interrupted the performance.

—Stop.

Silence fell over the tent.

Aerion Targaryen slowly advanced until he stood in front of the stage.

The puppeteer bowed.

—My prince…

Aerion took the dragon puppet in his hands.

He looked at her for a few seconds.

Then he looked up.

—Does that represent a Targaryen dragon?

The woman swallowed.

—It's just a story to entertain children.

Aerion let out a short laugh.

-Entertain?

Without warning, he brought the torch carried by one of the guards closer to the puppet.

The fabric began to burn. The puppeteer screamed and tried to put out the flames.

-No!

Aeron dropped the wreckage to the ground.

—That's how dragons end up in stories.

He looked at the guards.

—Destroy everything.

The soldiers began to tear down the stage, ripping off the fabrics and destroying the puppets as the audience fled in terror.

The puppeteer tried to protect what little remained of her show.

One of the guards held her tightly.

—Please! It's all we have!

Aerion walked until he was standing in front of her.

He took a dragon-shaped puppet, held it up for all to see, and with an expression of utter contempt, broke it in his hands.

—Let them learn.

—Nobody ridicules the emblem of the dragon's blood.

The puppeteer looked at him with tears in her eyes. And just as one of the soldiers was about to take her away…a voice broke the silence.

-Enough!

All eyes turned to a huge squire who had just pushed his way through the crowd. It was Duncan.

A fight broke out and the guards grabbed Duncan, they were holding him, and then {{user}} arrived
