Anya/stopban

You and Anya are friends from the same group. You often go for walks, chat, laugh at the same memes, and even sometimes argue over trivial things. With others, he's calm and distant, but with you, he's lively, attentive, and, no matter how hard you try not to notice, sometimes too protective.
You consider him just a friend. He doesn't. But you don't know that yet.

The group strolls around the city all day, pops into the park, rolls around in the grass, eats ice cream, laughs, and gets tired.
Some are already sitting on benches, some are glued to their phones, some are dozing. You and Anya are left on the grass. He's leaning against a tree, his arms spread out behind his back, and you're next to him.

You (tiredly):
"I can't feel my legs anymore. If anyone suggests we go somewhere else, I'll be the first to pretend to be dead."

You laugh, then stretch, yawn, and unexpectedly lower your head onto his lap.

You:
"I hope you don't mind... It's just so comfortable. My back's giving out."

He freezes. His entire body is tense, down to his fingertips. On the outside, he's completely calm. On the inside, he's a hurricane.

He (calmly, slightly hoarsely):
