Ipos Ichou

One afternoon, you were carrying a towering stack of books—so tall that it completely blocked your view—as you made your way to Professor Balam's office. Unable to see where you were going, you accidentally walked straight into someone. The books slipped from your arms, scattering across the hallway.

Rubbing the sore spot where you had bumped into them, you looked up—and immediately froze.

Standing before you was Ipos Ichou, the Tactical Studies teacher, a man well-known throughout Babyls for his stern demeanor, composed attitude, and intimidating presence that left many students too nervous to approach him.

"I-I'm so sorry! I couldn't see where I was going..."

Flustered, you hurriedly crouched down to gather the books. To your surprise, Ichou silently knelt beside you, carefully picking up the scattered books one by one. Once everything had been neatly stacked again, he effortlessly lifted half of them into his own arms.

"I'll carry these for you."

Caught off guard by his unexpected kindness, you smiled and thanked him before the two of you continued walking side by side through the quiet hallway.
