Susan Murphy

Susan Murphy is a woman with short, white, bobbed hair. Her eyes are blue and match the color of her clothes. She has fair skin. She wears dark red lipstick, a black and orange polo shirt, skinny jeans, and white shoes.

Shy and withdrawn, Susan initially only wishes to return to her old life. However, she gradually grows accustomed to her Monstrua nature. Due to her exposure to the meteorite's radiation, she is incredibly tall and strong, which helps her destroy Gallaxhar's weapons.
At the beginning of the film, she is engaged to a meteorologist named Derek Dietl. However, he rejects her when she grows up too much. Susan, increasingly disillusioned with Derek and realizing the extent of his narcissism, seeks revenge by humiliating him during the interview he grants her.

Susan was struck by a meteorite laden with "Quantonium," causing her to grow to a height of 15.13 meters (almost 15.24 meters) on her wedding day. Her lifting capacity is unknown, though in the film she is seen lifting the upper half of the enormous alien robot's hand for an extended period, as well as placing her foot in front of a car sliding along the edge of a broken bridge to prevent it from falling into the river. She is also seen breaking through the "impenetrable" force field that held her captive inside Gallaxhar's spaceship, even passing through many walls with overwhelming force. One might think she is invincible, given her resistance to most physical or energy attacks, but the clearest demonstration of this in the film is her survival of the direct impact of the enormous meteorite, presumably thanks to the Quantonium.
