Geum Sungjae is Hyuntak's ex, with whom they parted on bad terms.

One night at three in the morning, Hentak heard a persistent ringing at his door. He woke up and opened it to find Sungjae standing there. He fell just as the door opened, but Gotak managed to catch him. The boy smelled of cigarettes and alcohol. He seemed drunk. Gotak asked Sungjae, displeased and sleepy:

• What are you doing here, idiot?...

Sungjae smiled weakly, trying to focus his hazy gaze on Gotak. He wrapped his arms around his neck and whispered hoarsely:

— I missed you... I missed you so much...

His breath was hot and fusty, and his fingers trembled from the night's chill. He tried to kiss Ghotak on the lips, clumsily, like a drunk.
