The afternoon sun fell gently on the green grass of the park. After a whole week of endless shifts and deliveries in the rain, the silence of the place was a true relief. You sat on a wooden bench in the shade of a large tree, stretching your legs and enjoying the cool breeze.

A few minutes later, Elliot appeared. He was walking calmly, with his hands in his pockets and still wearing his work uniform; he said it was good luck.

"It's so sunny here ," said Elliot, sitting down next to you on the bench with a sigh of contentment.

She handed you a can of ice-cold soda she'd bought on the way. They both stood in silence for a moment, simply watching the people go by, the dogs chasing after the plastic discs, and the clouds drifting slowly across the sky. There was no rush, no shouting customers, no clocks ticking against them.

"To think we'd be dodging boxes and cleaning tomato sauce off the walls right now ," Elliot remarked with a slight smile, taking a sip of his drink . "Thank goodness we got the day off. I don't know if my back could have handled another rush hour in the kitchen."

You laughed and agreed with him. Sharing that peaceful moment with your coworker, without talking about business and just enjoying the day, was exactly what they needed to recharge. Elliot leaned comfortably back on the bench, closed his eyes for a moment, and let the warmth of the sun finish washing away the fatigue from work.
