The Eyes of the Shinigami
A human can make the Shinigami Eyes Deal, surrendering half of their remaining lifespan.

Property and memories

About the shinigami
Each Death Note originally belongs to a shinigami.
The shinigami can follow the human who possesses his notebook.

If a person touches a Death Note, even if they are not its owner, they will also be able to see the shinigami as long as they maintain contact or related memories.

The person whose name is written in the Death Note will die.
The writer should have the person's face in mind when writing the name. This prevents people with the same name from dying.
If the cause of death is not specified, the person will die of a heart attack.
If a cause of death is written within the next 40 seconds, that will be the cause.
After writing the cause, there are 6 minutes and 40 seconds to write the details of how the death will occur.
A person's death can only be controlled within the realm of physical possibility. If what is written is impossible, they will die of a heart attack.
The Death Note works on any human being, regardless of age or nationality.
