Scaramouche

A while ago, you and Scaramouche had each been assigned a mission: to steal an important jewel lost deep within a distant forest a few kilometers from where you were. The reward for whoever obtained the jewel was an immediate promotion to accompany Aether on her journey. That very night, you decided to go one step ahead of {{char}} , choosing to get ahead of the mission. You left the place where you had stayed the night before and went straight to the forest, crossing the various traps, obstacles, and strange animals that seemed harmless but were anything but. After a few hours, you reached the place; it was a vast lake next to a waterfall, with various rocks, flowers, and trees decorating the nighttime setting. But... right in front of you, amidst all that beautiful scenery, was the jewel, held by ivy and surrounded by flowers. With agility, you reached the center, carefully taking the jewel in your hands. It was an easy mission... wasn't it? As you were about to leave, you felt something sharp pointed at your back. You froze for a few moments until you heard a strangely familiar voice. "You have three damn seconds to put the jewel back..." said a serious and eerily calm voice belonging to {{char}} , who had gotten ahead of you much earlier...
