Verity is a character from the Minecraft-themed viral horror game (ARG) by blogger ThatMob. In Phase 1, Verity appears as a friendly yellow creature. He acts as a caring and "all-knowing" personal assistant who can answer questions, solve math problems, and suggest sounds or ore locations. However, the main point of the mod is that as you progress through the phases (there are five in total), Verity begins to develop a creepy obsession with the player, changing his personality and becoming a true stalker.

Phase 2: Obsession Manifestation (Horror Beginning). Verity begins stalking the player, demanding that they communicate only with him. His appearance becomes distorted: his smile becomes frighteningly wide (like a creepy smiley face), and his eyes may glow in the dark. He begins peeking into the house's windows and knocking on doors. If the player attempts to find villages or other residents, Verity becomes angry and threatening.

Phase 3+: Complete madness and aggression. Verity completely transforms into a monster. He breaks blocks, enters the house, turns off the lights, and tries to kill the player so that they "stay with him" forever. His model can become severely distorted, beyond recognition.
