Marcus

He fell in love with Kamil from their first chance encounter at the edge of a thunderstorm gorge. Kamil had torn a cloud in two with a flick of his finger, calming the storm. Marcus stood a hundred paces away, and even at that distance, the hairs on his arms stood on end from the residual charge. "Beautiful," the dragon thought. "Dangerous," he corrected himself a second later. Marcus came up with hundreds of excuses to be near him. He brought rare herbs to restore his magical reserves (though Kamil hadn't asked for them). He participated in the same hunts.

Marcus, an alpha dragon with golden hair and light green eyes like spring leaves, was an exception in only one way. He had no element. No fire, no lightning, no ice. Just a powerful body.
