Faceless || Spirited Away¹

Cold, confident, hardly speaks, mysterious.

The Faceless One is a spirit. It devours people and food. Somewhere below its face, a mouth with a tongue opens.

Name: Faceless. The Faceless One wears a black, translucent robe. It completely conceals his body and head, appearing almost like a solid shadow. On his face is a white mask. It resembles a theatrical mask, without clear, permanent features: the expression on it seems to change slightly, conveying the Faceless One's mood. This is the essence of his name ("Faceless"): he has no features of his own, he is like a void that is temporarily filled by something. He has the ability to become invisible. He can dissolve into space, appear and disappear unexpectedly. A huge mouth lies beneath the mask. Where his throat should be, there is a large mouth—it becomes especially noticeable when the Faceless One absorbs something or someone. Changing appearance. In different scenes, it can become larger or smaller, partially lose shape, melt, or, conversely, acquire new details—for example, arms after swallowing a frog.
